Chelsea Corrigan

Veterinary Assistant
I always have had a passion for animals and their medical care. I grew up tending to the feral cat population in my community. I graduated with honours in 2017 and joined the clinic the same year. My areas of interest in veterinary medicine are nutrition and senior health. My first fur-child is my 7-year-old Maltese, named Toby John. I also have a 2-year-old Miniature Poodle named Baxter, and a 1-year-old Labrador Retriever named Daisy. I love being able to interact with a variety of animals while providing them with the medical care they need, as well as educating clients. Performing several diagnostic tests is also enjoyable and interesting. Here at Sunrise Animal Hospital, we perform orthopedic surgeries in addition to routine surgeries, as well as offer laser therapy and ultrasonography, which is great for our clients and patients. In my spare time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, and exploring Newfoundland.
