Dr. Karen Yetman
Veterinarian
Dr. Yetman had a desire to enter the veterinary field for many years and she is so grateful to finally be here. She received a B.S (Agr) in Animal Science from Dalhousie University, followed by a post graduate diploma in One Health from the University of Edinburgh and most recently her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Atlantic Veterinary College!
Dr. Yetman’s areas of interest include preventative medicine , animal welfare and public health. When not providing care to your furry companions, she can be found at home enjoying her garden, camping and fishing with her partner David, or snuggling with her cat Tom Puss or soon to arrive puppy Dolly.
She is absolutely thrilled to return to the Sunrise family, after working in our reception area for years before completing her studies. She is a lover of both small and large animals and looks forward to caring for your beloved pets.
